| ok so im finally home after an 8+ hour car ride both ways!! Well on the ride up there it was me, my mom, my dad, both brothers, and sister but it was late at night so we all slept except for me and my dad who took turns driving. then when we got there at almost 1 in the morning, we were all hoping to go to sleep, but no my WHOLE family is still awake waiting for us to get there!! omg there must have been maybe 30-40 of us( most were staying in a hotel 5 min away)
so anyway after a couple hours i just fall asleep on one of the couches but was woken up like a half hour later by my uncle( the 19 year old) and his friends who just came in and wanted to go out, cause apparently they don't sleep in virginia.
ok so i changed and i went out with them and we went to this place called the T Room which i can't even begin to descibe it...but by the time we came home i was dead on my feet.
the whole week went by too fast and was crazy, and hectic, and amazing!! we spent most of the time outside playing volleyball or football and at night the adults would go out and i would go out with my uncle and his friends while the older adults(older aunts and uncles, grandparents) stayed with the little ones.
but anyway i just got home today and this time my uncle and his 4 friends( their all marines and they stayed with my family the whole week at the house too) drove up to philly with us cause thats where they are getting the plane to go back down to their base in south carolina. and that was the scariest and most fun i've ever had in a car ride lol
but yea now they are on their way to airport but they all might be staying with my family here on christmas so if not i'll be goin down there to spend a week with them on the base before they go to iraq for 7 months :(
yea so i'll probly be in school tomorrow but now i think i'm just gonna crash......its so good to be home :) |
